UGUR Spice Co was founded in 2000 in Izmir, Turkey. It is one of the leading processors of herbs and spices in the country, specialising in bay leaves and oregano. Our products are being exported to many European countries, including Germany, France, Netherlands and Belgium. We process 500 tons of bay leaves and 600 tons of oregano per year in our plant in Kemalpasa, Izmir. Our other products are sage, rosemary, linden, thyme, cumin seeds, aniseeds, blue and white poppy seeds, fennel seeds, sesame seeds, sumac and dried parsley. Our processing facilities are equipped with modern equipment designed to enhance the efficiency and quality of the process. We apply the strictest quality control measures at each step of process. Physical, chemical and microbiological tests are performed according to the latest editions of Food Codex. Our many testing methods, safety inspection criteria and employee commitment ensure consistency of product colour and flavour. Our herbs and spices do not contain additives of any kind and we use the latest packaging technology in order to prevent the loss of volatile oil and characteristic odours so our customers know that they will get only the cleanest, safest and the most natural products possible.
