Introduction The Company, popularly known as TIL, is one of the leading manufacturers of various types of Pharmaceutical formulations. International Tie-ups The Company has a licence agreement with the erstwhile Japanese Multinational Roussel Morishita Co. Ltd., -(Since 1971) a subsidiary of the World’s leaders in amino acids - Ajinomoto Corporation Ltd., of JAPAN to manufacture and market Amino acids formulations in India. The Company ROUSSEL MORISHITA CO. LTD., has now merged with one of the World’s leaders in ‘Pharmaceutical Business viz. Hoechst Marion Roussel Ltd. This agreement has given the Company the pre-eminent position of being the pioneers in Amino Acid therapy in India. Besides, the Company has also an arrangement with F. Hoffmann La Roche, Switzerland (Since 1991) for manufacturing and marketing certain life saving products in Anaesthesiology & Gastroenterology. For a novel Antigastritic and direct ulcer healing agent the company has a tie-up with M/s.Kotobuki Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., Japan (Since 1999). Recently, TIL has entered into an agreement with M/s.TOA Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., Japan for an unique probiotic agent. Recognition & Rewards TIL is also the proud recipient of UDYOG RATTAN AWARD from the President of India, Further, it was honored with “THE INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS EXCELLENCE AWARD” presented by Union Ministry of Health, Government of India, in recognition of the efforts in the field of health care. Associations / Affiliations TIL, as a Company, is also a Board member of Indian Society of Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition shortly known as ISPEN, formed in India, under the auspices of American Society of Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN). Operations TIL has a marketing strength of 500 field personnel covering over 1,00,000 doctors across the country and its product range meets the therapeutic needs of various specialists. TIL also has a wide Distribution Network comprising of own Depots, C & F and CADs in all the State capitals of the country with 1000 stock points and covering 1,50,000 retailers. Overseas Operations In the global scenario too, TIL’s products are exported to over 23 countries and the Company is approved as the supplier to various World Bank Funded Programmes. |
